FIX-KST is a single part pre-mixed cementitious dry mortar for the bonding and fixing of elements hard-foam. FIX-KST is rapid setting, frost resistant, waterproof and suitable for bonding on to most common substrates including boarded wooden floors. It can be used both internally and externally.

Ideally suited for adhering Shower Trays and Boards to Floors and Walls in the bathroom or kitchen. Fix-KST Fixing Adhesive provides an ideal solution for fixing Abacus Elements boards and shower bases amongst many other uses too.

How to use this product;

Surface Preparation: The surface must be clean, firm, dry, free of dust, dirt, oil and grease. When adhering to timber flooring, ensure the substrate is firm, stable and treated with a suitable primer. All substrates should be rigid enough to withstand loads without deflection.

Mixing & Application: FIX-KST should be added slowly to clean water (3.5kg to approx. 0.7 litre) and can either be applied by the dot-and-dab method covering approximately 40% of the board up to a bed thickness of 35mm, or by the screeding method using an 8mm comb trowel. Do not mix in temperatures less than 5°C.
